Testing + Reporting (VALD)
Know what to train. Prove what improved.
Every athlete starts with a baseline VALD assessment, then we retest on an 8-week rhythm. Reports are optional—testing is not. This keeps the program simple while still delivering elite-level reporting when you want it.
Baseline VALD assessment at signup + an 8-week retest cadence (optional athlete report). Coaches can add a Team Summary Report when 8+ athletes enroll.
Why we test in the first place
A lot of training programs “feel” hard—but families never get clarity on what changed.
Testing gives you:
- A starting point (baseline)
- A training priority (what matters most for your athlete)
- A retest outcome every 8 weeks (proof + next focus)
This is how performance facilities remove guesswork.
Baseline VALD Assessment
The baseline is a short assessment that helps us:
- set realistic targets,
- identify priorities (speed, power, strength balance, landing control, etc.),
- and personalize coaching emphasis within your training track.
Baseline fee: $50 (at signup)
Who it’s for:
All HS Performance athletes (weekday, Saturday, and Sunday tracks).
The 8-week rhythm
We run testing on a consistent cycle because it fits how adaptation works—and it’s easy for families to understand.
How it works:
- Baseline at enrollment
- Athlete trains in their track monthly
- Retest every 8 weeks
- Optional report is available after each retest
Important note:
Retesting is built into the system to keep progress on track—but reports are optional (so you aren’t forced into a big “report package” to train).
Optional reporting (for athletes and teams)
Athlete Performance Report (Optional)
If you want your results packaged into a clean report you can keep and share:
- Personalized Athlete Report: $75 (available after each 8-week retest)
- Includes baseline vs retest trends + coaching notes + “what to focus on next”
Key point:
Training continues regardless. The report is only for families who want the deliverable.
Team Summary Report (Coach Option)
If a coach has 8+ athletes enrolled from the same team:
- Team Summary Report: $100
- Team-level trends + participation status + priorities (no over-complication)
What families like most
- A clear starting point (baseline)
- Training that’s coached to the athlete—not generic
- Retests that confirm improvement (or show what needs adjustment)
- Optional reports (no forced upsells)
Do I have to buy the report to be in the program?
No. Reports are optional. The athlete still trains and retests on the 8-week rhythm.
What if we miss the retest week?
We’ll place the athlete into the next available retest window.
Is this medical testing?
No. This is performance assessment to inform training. If an athlete is injured, we’ll modify training and recommend medical evaluation when appropriate.
Can coaches see my athlete’s full report?
Athlete reports are the family’s choice to share. Coaches can purchase a team summary report when 8+ athletes enroll.
How long does testing take?
Baseline sessions are scheduled in groups and run efficiently. You’ll get exact timing when you enroll.
Start with a baseline. Train with a plan. Retest every 8 weeks.
