Essentials: Coached Training for Real Life,
Not Gym Life
High-Energy Training. Expert Coaching. Real Results.
Essentials is our coached training program for adults who don’t want a hardcore gym class—but do want to feel better, move better, and stay ahead of health problems. Each session is led by a coach who understands injuries and “I’m starting from zero” worries, and every workout is built around real-life strength, mobility, and stamina.
The Themes of the Essentials Classes
Essentials runs Monday through Friday, with two coached workouts each day at 7:30am and 11:15am, each 60 minutes long. Every session focuses on one of our three themes—Cardio & Toning, Mobility & Joint Health, or Strength & Stability—so across the week you’ll get a full mix of heart health, movement quality, and strength work.
The two daily sessions will often cover different themes, which means you may even find yourself attending twice in the same day when your schedule and energy allow. Below are the three Essentials class themes so you can see how they work together to support your health and goals.
Essentials:
Cardio & Toning
A coach-led cardio and light-strength training session for adults who know they need to move more but don’t want to jump into intense workouts. We combine low- to moderate-intensity cardio, basic resistance training, and simple core work to help improve heart health, stamina, and body composition in a supportive, non-intimidating environment. Perfect for folks that have been meaning to get back into a fitness routine, pre-diabetic clients, and anyone who wants a guided workout to feel better and “tone up.”
Essentials:
Mobility & Joint Health
A program for adults with stiff, achy, or “beat up” joints who still want to move better. We blend gentle mobility work, joint-friendly strength, and movement coaching to help your hips, knees, back, and shoulders feel more comfortable in everyday life. Ideal after physical therapy, or anytime you feel too tight, sore, or nervous to jump into regular workouts. EVERY ADULT OVER 35 COULD BENEFIT FROM THIS CLASS.
Essentials:
Strength & Stability
A coached strength and balance program for adults who want to feel stronger and steadier without the chaos of a regular gym class. We focus on joint-friendly strength training, core and balance work, and gradual progress so you can lift, carry, climb stairs, and move through life with more confidence—whether you’re starting from inactive, busy raising kids, or just ready for a smarter, guided workout.
How You’ll Get Started: Essentials Success Start Session
Before you jump into classes, we guide you through a one-time Essentials Success Start Session so you feel prepared and confident on day one.
In about an hour, you’ll get:
Welcome & Setup
We’ll create your account, finish waivers, and walk you through how your membership works—no rushed front-desk experience.
Guided Tour of the Facility
See exactly where your Essentials classes happen, where to check in, and where to stash your stuff so you’re never wondering, “Where do I go?”
InBody Body Composition Scan and Goal Setting
A quick, non-invasive scan that gives us (and you) a real starting point—not just a scale weight. We’ll explain the key numbers and how they guide your training. We will also talk through goals and set a couple realistic, time-bound goals for you to achieve.
First-Class Game Plan
We show you what a typical Essentials class looks like, how we scale exercises for different fitness levels, and what to expect in your very first session.
Personal Introduction to Your Coach
On the day of your first class, we introduce you to your coach. They’ll already know your goals, limitations, and what you’re nervous about.
Your One-Time Investment
To deliver this level of individual attention, there is a one-time Success Start fee:
- Standard: $99
- Doctor / PT referral: $79
After that, you only pay your regular Essentials membership.
No recurring setup or enrollment fees.
You bring the decision to start.
We’ll handle the plan, the structure, and the support.
Who is Essentials best for?
Essentials is ideal for:
Adults who want a structured plan without “beat-you-up” workouts
People returning after time off, stress, or inconsistent training
Anyone who wants better strength, mobility, and conditioning for real life
Members who want coaching, accountability, and steady progress
If you’re not sure where you fit, we’ll help you choose the right starting path.
Title or Question
Yes. Essentials is built to meet you where you are. Coaches scale movements, loads, and intensity so beginners can learn safely and build confidence quickly. If you’re returning after a long break, this is often the best on-ramp.
Is Essentials lower impact?
Compared to many high-intensity class formats, yes. Essentials is designed to be joint-friendly and sustainable. That said, “lower impact” doesn’t mean “easy”—it means training that’s smart, effective, and aligned with long-term progress.
How often should I do Essentials?
Most people get great results with 3 days per week. If you’re starting from scratch, 2–3 days is a smart ramp-up. If you’re experienced and recover well, you can add an extra day or combine with Training Studio access. We’ll help you pick the right weekly plan based on your goals and lifestyle.
What does a typical Essentials session include?
Most sessions include:
A coached warm-up and movement prep
Strength-focused training (fundamentals + progression)
Accessory work for balance, posture, and durability
Conditioning that supports health and stamina without needless wear-and-tear
A short cool-down or mobility component
Can Essentials help with weight loss or body composition?
Yes—Essentials supports body composition by building strength, improving consistency, and increasing weekly training volume in a sustainable way. Results are best when training is paired with reasonable nutrition habits and recovery. If you want objective tracking, we recommend adding InBody scans to monitor changes over time.
What if I have a prior injury or limitations?
That’s common. We’ll scale movements, choose substitutions, and focus on building strength safely. If you’re working with a physical therapist or medical provider, we can keep training aligned with your plan. The goal is progress you can tolerate—not pushing through pain.
Do you offer assessments to guide training?
Yes. If you want extra clarity, we offer performance and body composition assessments to establish a baseline and track progress. Many Essentials members use InBody for body composition tracking, and some choose performance testing to identify strength and movement priorities.

What should I bring?
Bring comfortable training clothes, athletic shoes, and a water bottle. Optional items: a small towel, wrist wraps, belt, or knee sleeves if you already use them—but you don’t need any gear to start.
